Bryan, our superhero

This post has special meaning, and is less about the image and more about the subject. A friend of a friend's son (he is 22) is facing yet another surgery because of neurofibromatosis. This time it's scary for him and hoping for the best is hard to do when they can't even define the worst. We've started an email campaign for him and we're hoping to get him flooded with emails wishing him well.

If you would like to help, his email is rsuperhero85@yahoo.com I know there are a lot of these blogs and it takes a lot of time to go through so if comes down to sending him a quick email and leaving a comment please take the time to email Bryan

Someone asked

When we got to run over the cones? Well, this is it. During a backing exercise and the cone got stuck between the rear tires. Yes, it is a picture from last week but I worked all weekend again and didn't take my camera out with me.

Ice Cream time

We were there at the wrong time of day to avoid the background blowouts, but as much as I love ice cream it is not a breakfast food.

Also, I want to thank everyone for their concern about DH. His blood glucose is still running high, but out of the dangerous and possibly facing the ICU levels (he's hanging out in the 300's) They've upped some of his meds and added another into the mix. He's still grumpy, tired, and being miserable to all of us but for now he's safe. He goes back in 2 weeks to see if the med changes have been effective or not.

Sorry

I've had hubby at the ER with blood sugar levels into the 'scary dangerous' level (yes, he's diabetic been diagnosed about 6 years) and there is a lot of emotion going on with that (it's a long story, but I'm completely emotionally exhausted) and this week is the big push before clinicals and I haven't been able to spend the time studying that I should. I have a med-surg test tomorrow covering 11 chapters.

So, that's why I've missed a few days with pictures. I don't want you guys to give up on me though, I do appreciate the comments and have enjoyed 365'ing with everyone. I'm hoping that tomorrow I'll be back with my camera.

Sleep tight

The Scientist has a lot of problems sleeping, so many that we had to put him on medication to get more than 2 hours of sleep/night. He did great for about 6 months and we've recently had to readjust his meds.

I tell you that so that you can appreciate how wonderful of a picture this is for me. Yes, I know I did sleeping kid pictures earlier, but this one means more.
